I've added the ability to spell check your posts before you hit the Submit key. You can find the Spell Check button right below the Edit window. I have only tested it a few times, but it seems to work great here...
The only annoying part of this Spell Checker is that it includes ads. But they aren't that obtrusive, so I think we can all live with them until I find something better, if it exists...
In the Spell Checker window, there are 3 buttons to get out of its window, Return, Submit, and Cancel. If you press the Return button, the spelling corrections will be transfered here and you can resume composing your literary gift to society. If you hit the Submit button, the spelling corrections will be transferred to here and your gift to mankind will be submitted to the thread or forum. Pressing Cancel ignores any corrections that you made and returns to this window so that you can finish composing your submission, if you so choose...

One additional note: In your Profiles, you now have a new option for the Spell Checker labeled, "Always check Spelling before posting:". I believe the default is Yes. If you don't always want to have the Spell Checker review your masterpieces before they are posted, simply update your Profile and set the "Always check Spelling before posting:" to No...

Hummm, a glitch of my own making I guess. I had a post all ready to go and got into a fight with Spell Check. I guess I should have discussed thing with it instead of punching it in the jaw. It retaliated by deleting everything I had done. LOL
My original post was to say how nice the Spell Check was and what a nice addition for the members. It's an amazing little tool isn't it with it's three options after spelling corrections have been made.
And all for free. Course you have the ads but as you say for the price that's minor.
You did good, Nightrider. Give yourself a raise. |

Yes, by all means do change the default in profiles to NO if you don't want Spell Check to pop up everytime you press Submit! Believe me it does NOT like to be Xed out.
Spell Check is a little slow to load but the benefits outweigh that. |

I agree that it takes time to load. It's good to have when you truly needed it. |

Sometimes default crup really aggrivates me! |

Nightrider,
May you someday forgive me for my rants about the spell checker. I've calmed down some now and about to take my leave for the satellite installation.

Nightrider
I see you found the place to tell the forum software to add the time a post is edited.
Good work, ole chap ! |
