You and I have long disagreed
As to the existance of a God
I choose to believe, you do not
You think my total faith is odd
I have never been ashamed to believe
That the universe was thus created
By an infallible supreme being, you say
Is a figment on which my mind is fixated
You say you can prove your point of view
That all the educated folks agree with you
My beliefs are just ignorance of facts There's
No life here after I just don't have a clue
But as I see it when the end comes
If your beliefs are true and mine are not
I'll be no worse off for believing while you
Will have eternity in a nice warm spot |
