If you have elderly parents
Who just sit around all day
Never have any thing to do
And not much else to say

You are at work all day
And your kids are at school
So they watch the TV screen
Maybe walk a block or two.

This doesn't peek their interest
Or keep their minds very alert
This causes them to be sullen
Even moody and an introvert

I'd like to suggest a solution
To get them chipper again
To ease your daily worries
And keep their minds opened

Get them a PC computer
And teach 'em how to use it
Open up a whole new world
And keep their minds fit.

I've met a lot of new friends
On a forum that often I visit
News,sports anything at all
Just ask and Google has it

I've traveled all over the world
From the tours on Expedia
I can learn a new language or
Just read on this new media

I can play games or view art
And the music is the best
I can see or hear a concert
Or just type in my request

I'm in contact with old friends
I try to email them every day
Got my sense of humor back
Even sold something on EBAY

You don't suppose the net
Will some day get the credit
For increasing the life span
Of all the folks who let it
