I'm looking at the new upgrade.
Last time, I ended up with complete removal of easymod and all mods from my forums by the upgrade process, and had to edit easymod and the mods to a new version number to get them to reinstall. Given I have 4 forums now, I'd rather like to avoid that.
Has anyone converted the update into an easymod mod ?
If not, can anyone do that ?
As far as I can see, installing the upgrade as a mod would be the best way of doing it. The txt file of changes is totally beyond me to edit myself, and while it talks about submitting each change as an easymod mod, I dont know how to do that.
It would be better if someone already had and I could just let easymod do the work.
Honestly, I dont understand why phpBB dont release upgrades as an easymod mod to start with, since they have 3 options already, another one seems reasonable to me.
Anyone help ? |

Dont wory, I figured it out from a response to someone elses post and a clarification.
Why dont they just call one of the downloads an easymod version and make it obvious ! |
