I so agree on the hidden content Lady Rose. hysterical1

I contacted my server host and they had me create a .hta file and adding this info from the Attachment MOD User Guide:

Quote:
max_execution_time
memory_limit
post_max_size
file_uploads
upload_max_filesize

At the end of the last 4 lines, they added some values and things. Nothing, no change. I've been in and out of the user guide trying to find some solution.

NR - I know if the image upload is working then things MUST be ok but...

a) is the attch_mod directory supposed to be in the forum directory?
b) you ever seen:

Quote:
<?
phpinfo();
?>

OR

Quote:
(Only for people hosting their own Website)

Every Attachment uploaded to the board will go into the PHP Temporary Upload Directory.
Please check the Permissions of this Directory and make sure PHP is allowed to write to it.

Maybe I'm spending too much time in this User Guide but I feel like it is SOMETHING we are missing. Arrrggghhhhhh

Ok, FireFox issue not resolved and I am still working on it. Now, as for uploading, GOT IT!! I am nt sure  why NR wsa able to upload and I wasn't but here nor there, it APPEARS to be working for now.

The last part in my last post about the:

Quote:
max_execution_time
memory_limit
post_max_size
file_uploads
upload_max_filesize

In a created htacces file, WORKED. So far. Using Firefox, I uploaded a tune and whallah. It was there BUT, I could not see the player nor download it. Of course, I logged in IE and I could see the player, hear the tune and no download. But, at least I did not get an error message. So seems there's still tweaking to be done... and I prevail....

I uploaded that with Firefox and am viewing it in Firefox and this is what I see ..... YAHOOOOOOO!!!

However .. I don't think this can be called a fix, I still can't see the player and hear the music from the MP3.  I tried uploading the same MP3 in test and it won't show or play for me using Firefox.  It just wont!  Crying or Very sad

You know I forgot to mention that I had no problems uploading images. We've only done .gif and .jpgs so far.

A/V wise - I'm going to test .avi's as I just tested .wma and .wmv - still can't see them in Firefox.

I even went on Firefox live chat. He said it is a WMP issue. He had me remove a .dll, still nope. He gave me a link to view on MyFoxAtlanta that only the time moved. The movie never had sound nor played. I listened to another file there and it played like ti should. I have no clue what to do next.... I did a rollback to WMP10, nothing. I might try to re-install 11. who knows.

I made a post on the phpBB forum under the topic as the author no longer works on this project. We'll see.
