Several things you can try if the firewall isn't to blame somehow. First clear your browser cache, cookies, etc. I don't expect this to work, but there is always a chance. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall Opera. Before you do so, make sure you export your Bookmarks and Contacts to a safe place on your PC so that you can reimport them again after reinstalling...

Thanks NR. I think I solved it! I had to reset the IP address and be designed a new one upon reboot. Check the Opera forum. There is the answer.

That's interesting. I wonder if that is a problem with XP? I've never heard of a need to do this on any previous Windows version...
