Nah! The timestamp is still screwed up! I put it back to GMT - 5hours as Blake told me and 0 lag time. Still an hour aa a few minutes ahead! |

To be exact - 1 hour 10 minutes ahead is the server's timestamp! When I post this it is 4.50 am here EST! |

The clock at the bottom of the home page, forum index page, shows the correct time. The time listed at the top of the page is fast by 1 hr 10 minutes. Weird, huh? |

Not really bigR. The clock at the bottom of the page is probably follwing the clock that we all have at our computers and the time stamp depends on the server...

Yeah, I guess you're right, Spider. The clock at the bottom is a mod that NR installed, dunno where it gets the time, could be from our computers and not from the server. |

I'm not sure what times you are comparing. All the times match with what I have. The only thing that varies for me is the Date. Sometimes it is off by 2 days, and that usually only starts in the afternoon and returns to normal after midnight. I have no clue what is causing that either...

My computer's current time is 2:16 PM, CST. Here's what it says at the top of the forum index page:
No new PM
You last visited on March 20 2005, 12:29 AM
The time now is March 20 2005, 3:24 PM
All times are UTC - 6 Hours

That's the time we're comparing, NR. I wonder why it shows the correct time for you, but it's off for Spider and me. Can't be a time zone thing, since you two are both in EST. Very weird! |

That is really odd. The times on my Index page are only off a few minutes and I'm sure they will match again once the page automatically refreshes...
I wonder if you have a setting problem in the Profile???
