I found a site with a feature that I really like. http://coasterforce.com/forums
^ That is the site in-case anyone is interested...
Anyway, they have this feature the allows users from their phpBB forums to Rate certain content on the site from 1-10. 10 Being the best. But what really gets me is that this content isn't on the phpBB forums at all! It's on different pages throughout the site...
Do you know if there is a MOD for this or this is something completely custom that they have added?
And if it isn't a phpBB MOD do you know where I can find anything like it? I would really like to add something like it to my site. |

I don't quite understand what you mean about the content not being on the phpBB forums. This might be what you are looking for as far as Rating MODs go. I haven't installed this so I don't know how easily it installs or how it works once installed:
[BETA] Was This Post/Topic Helpful
I think there are other MODs available that allow members to rate each posted message too. Perhaps one of the others remembers what that would be. It might be the [BETA] Democracy MOD 0.2.1 (reputation + warnings + reports) MOD...

It's not those...
I'm not sure if it is a phpBB MOD at all, but it is written in PHP...
It's a MOD/Script that allows users from my phpBB database to rate content on other pages of my site.
I know it has something to do with phpBB because it takes information from the database and allows and disallows users depending on if they are in the database or not... |

I wish I had seen it, but I've never heard of a utility like that. Here's hoping that someone else here has and can help...

Yes, that tutorial will help you to integrate your entire web site in with the logging features of phpBB. Is that what you were asking for???
