The tragedy of 911 woke us
To the evil terrorists out there
That we must always be vigil
And of their treachery beware.

But lately I've been feeling
Problems nagging at me
That are just as serious
And I think you might agree.

We're trying to keep God
In our allegiance to the flag
We're a Christian nation
At least that is our brag.

Yet now we're saying lately
We want to change the rules
That it should be alright now
To use torture as our tools.

You can't have it both ways
Are you a Christian or not ?
We're supposed to be civilized
How well were you taught?

Our young men dying
In a terrible war we can not win
Workers losing their jobs
What a tragedy this has been.

Then we have those in control
Selling out American labor
For the big short term gains
They sell out their neighbor.

Wake up now America
This is a grievous sin
Pay heed to the deeds
Of the enemy within!!

The USSR predicted that the US would fall without a shot ever being fired at it. I think the actions of GW and his administration is going to guarantee our demise. But the "terrorists" are not going to be responsible. GW and his faithful flock will destroy our Constitution and Bill of Rights and claim that they have to in the name of Safety and Security. The same happened in Nazi Germany. GW is going the same that Hitler did to the German people. Why isn't anyone willing to stop GW? Why weren't the German people willing to stop Hitler???

You are SO right NR. I remember when Khruschev took off one shoe & banged it hard repeatedly on the table & said just t hat! WE will bury you with out firing a shot ... was this at theUN meting??

WE actually includes many more countries than the former USSR.

I tell you China is burying economically us by flooding our market with their cheaper priced goods. What isn't Made in China these days ... very few things.

Russia & China are one in the same... just at different locations on the globe.
