I'm researching newsreaders to put on your website.
While I personally wouldn't mind the RSS I see on these boards ... For my website I need one that will run in my .html webpages not on the boards (or run on both).
I have installed and am trying free Carp. With a couple tweaks they give you in the instructions you can also make it parse the RSS files to .html.

The reason I tried this one is that it really is PHP based. I could upload and install it same as uploading and installing a phpbb had a clue how to do that.
According to the install file I was successful. But I havn't figured out something cause it don't work. I did the .htaccess file it said I needed to to root directory.
Anyway the question is ....Does anyone here know enough about RSS to recommend a rss parser that can be used on php and .html pages that is easy for a "Don't Know Jack Person" like me to install?
Nightrider...If you want to see the installation check it out. |
