Well fall is here. The leaves are all falling it's very chilly out got down to 39 the other night. I've been trying to keep up with the outside work but I might hire someone to help clean the gutters and do the final leaf removal from the yard. Then again the old bat might just do it herself! Lol! I'll let you know how that turns out. I hope everyone is happy and healthy. |

Yes the leaves are falling! I was sitting and looking at one corner of the back yard where we have a burr oak planted. The leaves of the burr oak are very large and they are piling up against the steps of the storage building and against the fence. I'm thinking it's all very pleasant looking, God's decoration of the season. Howeve, I know before Winter is over with I will be sick of all the leaves! The tree sheds it's leaves practically all Winter, it doesn't seem to end. But that too shall pass. Keep telling myself enjoy what you have and see while it's there.
The lowest temps we have had were in the low 50 and that's perfect for me. Don't need anything lower thank you very much. If only we could choose what temps we want. LOL
The "old bat" better be careful cleaning those gutters!

Never thought of tree shedding leaves all winter. Ours get nekkid! The oak trees keep leaves and they usually shed in spring. Evergreen of course keep needles, but lose the pine cones. I took faithy out driving through two of the parks today and let her walk a little bit boy it sure was pretty |
