PowerpointImageExtractor
PowerpointImageExtractor is a fast free tool to make copies of the images and the audio contained in any PowerPointŪ presentation or slideshow (PPT and PPS files). It creates a new folder in your system where all the images and a WAV file with the audio are stored (provided that audio is included in the presentation).
You do not need to have PowerPointŪ installed in your computer

I installed this program and it works beautifully! Does exactly what it says it will do. Amazing. For free too.
Only thing .... I don't know why this happens and it may be only me, but when you launch this extractor it doesn't display completely. See first image below. You will have to grab the lower right edge and pull it down and out to show the Load button. See second image
When you press the Load button your files are displayed, navigate to the PPS file from which you want to extract the images and click that file.

How did you know, mojo?! LOL
There is a lady, Trigger is her member name, in Canada that sends me the most beautiful power point slides in the world. To extract the images I have to use Gadwin to take screen shots or Open Office and jump through a bunch of hoops. This program is a God sent. I LOVE it.
