I'm not aware of any hardware where things are bare, but I could hardly bear to have hardware bare of fruit in hareware fare.

Since you started the ball rolling, Catmando, there is something I would like to ask. I'm thinking of getting a new HDD to move all my partiitons to and than use the old HDD for storage. Anyone know of a good buy right now? Anyone with a recommandation on brand name?

I'd suggest putting a bug in JR's ear in that "other" forum (any that he frequents) since he always seems to have something to say about stuff like this.

Now that you mention it, JR does have a lot to say about HDD doesn't he.  Must be his favorite piece of hardware.  The way he talks about backing up, ghosting and saving he must have at least a dozen HDD.

LOOK RB, you only have about 252,000 words to post to catch up to one of your favorite persons who supposedly is clogging up the SW forum.

I may try that.  And hope Cowboy Whatever (Bill Gaston) doesn't take it upon himself to answer, he would give me the details and the pros and cons of every HDD ever made plus the history, ancestery and future of all possible HDD for the next 100 years and by the time I read the post I would be dead!
