Hi Nightrider!!

I need some help from you, I just hope to not disturb you asking this, but i've researched a little bit after contacting you to get this info. Embarassed

I found you from google, after starting some investigation on the same issue that you had in the implementation of the Blank Page Template from phpbbhacks.com, on this thread...

Then i've contacted Glenn on his portal and he told me that you helped him with this little thing...

Now, my problem is the same as Glenn had, i've installed this mod, but it doesn't let the unregistered users view the pages, same issue that you faced and solved somehow as I saw at Glenn's frontpage of his portal.

I just would like to know what changes were involved on the code, so maybe I can finish my site...!

Hi, binarypsycho, first of all welcome to RCF.

I'm sure Nightrider will answer you as soon as possible, last I heard he was doing a fresh install of his entire OS and all programs this morning, so please be patient.

binarypsycho, I'm sorry that I haven't been around to answer your questions. I'm fighting a serious HDD problem, again. Welcome to RCF, BTW...

The flaw in the code was obvious once I placed a few echo statements in the pages. I am on a very slow and old PC right now and I don't have access to any of the files. I would be happy to get you the fix if/when I get the other PC running again...

Glenn should be able to give you his copy of the corrected file. I don't remember what it is, but it should be the same on his site as it would be on your's...

I'm sorry this is taking so long, binarypsycho. Your timing was incredibly terrible. I just got my Main PC barely running last night and it may fail again at any moment since the HDD is terribly damaged. Maxtor is going to be seinding me a replacement HDD, but it's probably not going to arrive until mid next week. Until then, I am at the mercy of a failing HDD. I did manage to copy all of my phpBB information to a second HDD so hopefully it won't be lost forever. I got lucky this time...

I will try to look into this today to see if I can give you the details of what I had to fix for Glenn's site. Again, I am terribly sorry that I haven't been able to give you a solution for your problem yet...
