I also show Power DVD in Control Panel under the add/remove list but can't find it on my computer. Where can I find it and will it copy DVD videos? If neither of these software programs will copy DVDs which one do I need? |

OK. I may have answered my own question. I have included a SS of the pros and cons of using Nero 5.5 from www.epinions.com/content_133460299396
Do you agree with this? I am trying to copy the Dvd video to a DVD+R. Will that work? |

There is a good software called DVDShrink that does the job phenomenally!
And if you have video clips/files in other formats DVDSanta is the best!
PM me if you want more info... |

More information: The DVD that I want to copy is a series of pictures that the funeral home played in their chapel at my Brother-in-Law's Visitation and Funeral. They gave the DVD containing those pictures to my Sister-in-Law and She would like a copy to send to relatives in North Carolina. The blank DVDs that I have are DVD+R. Do I need to get DVD-Rs or another kind? |

With the software that I am sending you you can copyu the entire disc! Just make it as a backup and you're done. Any problems feel free to contact me through email. If you don't have it I will give it to you when sending the software! |

I don't know if the two of you have this resolved by now or not but Bobby if you search around in Nero you can find out what all it does. I don't have Nero 5 but I think the newer versions all do about the same thing. I think Blake has that version and he can better tell you. What I have is what my Memorex DVD player/recorder installed, it's a version of Nero. There are at least two ways to do what you are asking about I think. Like I said you will have to open the program and see what it will do.

I emailed numerous times early this morning to Spider in an attempt to figure out how to copy my Funeral Home Pics (called "The Bear") to a blank DVD+R. Rather than to continue loading Spider's email box I decided to post what I have done so far to the PC Help Forum.
!. I D/L the DVD Shrink program to my PC.
2. I successfully copied the Funeral Home Pics DVD to my "C" drive in the folder called "The Bear". I can click on that folder and play it on my PC. The Funeral Home pics DVD has 7 files, is 399MB and is called C:\The _BEAR\Funeral Home Pics\VTS_01_01.VOB.
3. When trying to copy it using the DVD Shrink program I get the following messages:

Now hit "Open Files" and browse to the files and drag them into the burning project. That should do it... If it doesn't I don't know what went wrong.
