We walk side by side
and i feel his presence close by me
and yet he's miles away

his eyes watch me for a moment
mine watch for eternity
i feel his body so warm
but also so very cold

a sense of distance
between our closeness
the surroundings seem so unimportant
and yet so very vital

he seems to sure of himself
so content with his discontent
so certain of his uncertainty

and so completely unaware
of the fact
that he means so very much to me

This seems to show the difference between men and women. That's why they wrote the book about men, women, Venus, and Mars. Perhaps he thinks about you more than you can imagine though!?!
