Of course if anyone else can answer this, it would be lovely also...
I have some MODs that are for sure installed, but since I've updated my board they are back in the EasyMod install section, and not in the history where they belong.
What the??
They are still functioning and everything, too, just no longer in the EM history. |

uploaded the today at/yesterday mod and there are a heap of unprocessed mods there. The ones that are already installed on my board. Do I process these or what?
|
this one?
If so, I guess that then means I should run the same query:
Code:
|
UPDATE phpbb_easymod SET mod_phpBB_version='2.0.18'
|
That NR told you to do?

TDQ, that won't work for you unless you have changed databases from what I had access to before. I already updated all of the records in your database so EM shouldn't be displaying MODs that you have already installed. Since it is, the best option is probably to download all the MODs in your admin/mods folder to your PC for backups, then delete them from your server. If they are not in the admin/mods folder, EM can't find or display them...

when?
I know what to do, then... I just wanted somethin' easy. I don't wanna remove them, because I might forget what's installed, so i will "trick" EM into thinkin' they are. I can be slick like that, too.

You were right, I ended up having to move the installed MODs that were showing up in the install section. BUT, I did manually place them into the DB, so they at least show on my HISTORY list in EM now. The only thing is, they all show the same time, but that will be a good way for me to remember what I did. |

You had to add them to the EM History? These must have been MODs that you manually applied to your board. I have never seen EM mess up with adding records after each MOD install...
I'm glad you figured out what to do though, TDQ. Once you understand the basics the rest is usually simple...

actually, only one of the MODs I know for sure I added manually, and the rest were EM installs. They used to be in the History, then the other day, they were no longer there. Weird... But they are all back in the history now. I know I'll be making a copy of the history before I do another board update (when one comes out), just to be on the safe side. |

That is strange. I have never seen records in the Easymod table disappear on their own. Something or someone had to do that and usually when that happens, you lose everything in the table. I guess unless you have any ideas what happened, we can chalk this up to another of the mysteries of life...

Ok, they released EasyMod 0.3.0 today. It seems to correct the flaw where installed MODs reappear in the MOD Install display after a phpBB Update. For me, the EasyMod 0.3.0 Update went smoothly on both my Test and Live boards. Hopefully the same will occur for everyone else...
