What am I supposed to be installing? I downloaded the file phpbb_2.0.17_to_2.0.18 and added it tom my mod directory for easy mod to install but when I went into the ACP and Install mods, there was nothing there.
As Pauline Hanson would say "Please explain" |

You want to put the Update file in it's own folder. Then upload it to the admin/mods folder. EM should be able to detect it at that point...
This is not correct either:

You made the problem worse Glenn. The MOD folder containing the MOD should be the folder in admin/mods. If you bury it deeper and deeper, EM will never find it...
The folder highlighted in yellow should be in admin/mods

I had the same problem with this code since I don't have any of the Login options on the bottom of the Index page. I don't know why because it wasn't included with any of the previous Updates and it wasn't there in the original 2.0.10 templates that we started with. I just removed all of the MOD script for the index_body.tpl because it doesn't apply to this board. It doesn't apply to your's either, at least not the portal Index page...

Since your Overall Header for your Portal is very different from the standard subSilver template, then you will always have problems with MOD script that wants to alter the menu options. It looks to me that this is something that was trying to remove unnecessary code in the subSilver overall header file. I doubt that your portal page has the same error since the code is very different...
As a result, you can ignore the warning error and finish the install after you remove the code that was meant to modify your index_body.tpl file...

You would edit the phpbb_2.0.17_to_2.0.18.txt file and remove all the code from the OPEN on the index_body.tpl file down to the next OPEN for the login_body.tpl file...
OPEN
Code:
|
phpbb_2.0.17_to_2.0.18.txt
|
FIND and REMOVE
Code:
|
#-----[ OPEN ]---------------------------------------------
# NOTE --- Remember to do this for all your installed styles!
#
templates/subSilver/index_body.tpl
#
#
# NOTE --- The following action adds the ability to show the 'Mark forums read' link to logged in users only.
#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
#
<td align="left"><span class="gensmall"><a href="{U_MARK_READ}" class="gensmall">{L_MARK_FORUMS_READ}</a></span></td>
#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]---------------------------------------------
#
<td align="left">
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
<span class="gensmall"><a href="{U_MARK_READ}" class="gensmall">{L_MARK_FORUMS_READ}</a></span>
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
</td>
#
#
# NOTE --- The following action is related to the new autologin option (it can be disabled from the ACP).
#
#-----[ FIND ]---------------------------------------------
#
{L_AUTO_LOGIN}
<input class="text" type="checkbox" name="autologin" />
#
#-----[ BEFORE, ADD ]---------------------------------------------
#
<!-- BEGIN switch_allow_autologin -->
#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]---------------------------------------------
#
<!-- END switch_allow_autologin -->
|
SAVE and UPLOAD to the EM 2.0.18 folder and try again...
