The rain is so heavy, I have to put on my hat
It’s hitting me hard and my eyes are staring at the rat
who’s walking so fast I can’t follow its path
but the rain keeps falling and there is no excuse for that

I’ve been to San Francisco and I’ve seen all the flowers grow
I was told it was nonsense and it all was nothing but a show
They try to convince me that soon the rain will be snow
but I doubt what they say, they don’t even seem to know

what it is all about when it really comes to the point
They stand there so innocently smoking one another’s joint
and complain so much about the way they exploit
the goods that they buy and no one really can avoid

The bottles are empty and nobody’s had a drink
I look into the kitchen and wonder if it is in the sink
but all I see is someone trying to pretend the world is pink
I tell myself to stop doing what I think

It’s Sunday morning and the sun has become blind
I take the magnifier and try to see what I can’t find
Sherlock Holmes is not so goddamn kind
when you talk to him and he tries so hard to penetrate your mind

In Moscow they say that all has become so good
The man in the suit is still confused why he stood
at the square that was red when Lenin was around the “hood”
he asks his friend Igor if there still is any kind of wood

to heat up the place where the big leaders sleep so tight
or if it is really necessary to keep up with the fight
after so many years and not a simple dime in sight
yes I wonder if, the same is gonna happen hereby.

You must have worked hard on that. Seems to be filled to overflowing with emotion.

Very good. I need to read it a few more times, your poems are actually beginning to make some sense to me. LOL Like Nightriders said they would be good set to music.
