LOL, I don't know about others but I was busy as a bee yesterday, I was actually gone more of the day than I was home. Last night went to fancy dinner at a posh place that was put on to honor the doctors at our local hospital.
I've NEVER been to a shindig like this one before. I loved it. Yummy little appetizers, wine and "mixing" before dinner. Venders lined two walls with tables full of pens, pats, cold drink cups, fancy candy, nail care sets, unusual key chains, and all kinds of stuff. Best of all they provided a reusable cloth bag to put stuff in. Half filled my bag with stuff I knew I could use or give away. Fun!
Fancy dinning area! Cover chairs, pure white tablecloths, fancy fan folded huge cloth napkins, a large silver plate with the salad plate on it, three forks, knife, small spoon and teaspoon. Guess what, I knew what they all were for, the small fork was for salad, the large one for dinner and the one at the top of the plate was for desert. Two doctors sat at out table and one was so funny he kept us in stitches! My own doctor was on the program and later I met her husband, also a doctor, and he is as nice as she is.
The dinner started with a fresh green salad with rolls. The main course was some wonderful chicken covered with sauce and a hunk of beef inside a biscuit or some sort of bread, sliced mixed veggies and some sort of veggie/side I didn't recognize. LOL Desert was a tiny slice of cheese cake, chocolate cake and a strawberry. I couldn't eat it all. Oh yes by the plates were a pad and pen, the pen was in the shape of a hypodermic needle. LOL
On the way out they were passing out huge plastic hypodermic needles filled with chocolate candy. I had been a little skeptical about going but glad I did, I really did enjoy myself. Had a free ticket BTW.

Yeah, it's probably a good idea, some people were playing FarmVille before they did. Getting ready to get out the ladder and clean the eave spouts . I hate the climbing of the big ladder. |

It's done! I don't like heights anymore. Fixed the pneumatic closing thingee on front porch too. |
