When you removed the %s from the code that was added in the lang_main.php file, you removed the time and date stamp. I thought you said that you were trying to get rid of the time and date???
I don't see anything in this MOD code that would remove the topic name. Is that really gone???

That's not really making sense. I need to see a text link to your lang_main.php file next...

No, it really isn't weird. You removed the %s from the code added to your lang_main.php file. That is a place holder for the time. So this is how you fix it:
OPEN
lang_main.php
FIND
| Code:
|
$lang['Today'] = "<span class=todayat><b>Today</b></span>"; // %s is the time
$lang['Yesterday'] = "<span class=yesterdayat><b>Yesterday</b></span>"; // %s is the time
|
REPLACE WITH
| Code:
|
$lang['Today'] = "<span class=todayat><b>Today %s</b></span>"; // %s is the time
$lang['Yesterday'] = "<span class=yesterdayat><b>Yesterday %s</b></span>"; // %s is the time
|

Now on the index it shows
EASTER MONDAY...
Today %s 11:25 pm
by sooty View latest post
And in the section it still only shows the username and "today" "yesterday

I have a different version of this MOD than you have. Could you provide a link to the version that you installed???

I GOT IT!!!!!!
I found the processed folder of the mod when i installed it first time round and replaced the current code in there with the one i found.
And it shows ok now. Only with the %s.Which when i removed the last time it didnt affect it so im hoping this time round it still wont.
The version is
today-yesterday_mod_1-0-2a
And here is the code of the viewforum file with the mod working fine

Great!!! The MOD author must be doing all the work in a new function named create_date2. According to the versions, I have the newer version but I actually think your's is newer for some reason. I have 1.3.1...
