Ok, I'm not sure what you are referring to about the bloggers display. I'm looking around and for the most part, it is displaying and working correctly. The text probably could be formatted better using a span tag though to make it look like the rest of the text...
You can change your birth date in your Profile...

I saw the problem after I responded. I had to rearrange the order of the code to get it to display properly. It should be displaying correctly for you now...

Excellent and many thanks again for your help NR. I've figured it out now. It looks excellent. I changed my nieces birthday to today in her profile so a birthday would come up   I needed to see. She's back in Sydney and not logging in at present so hopefully it will go unnoticed.

The truth is I have not had the time to get near the stuff I need to read about php yet. And yes I am your classic left brainer, I can create well, but need to have stuff explained to me like a I am 5 yrs old  |

I doubt that you can learn this stuff by reading about php. That would be like reading about the alphabet. You do a lot with the alphabet that can't be explained in any book...
Basically to become an expert installing MODs, you need to learn a few simple tricks. You really don't need to understand the code of the MOD, but the best way to get it installed using EM. You have to hope that the MOD author knew what (s)he was doing when (s)he developed the MOD so that won't be your concern. Your concern is working through any conflicts that arise while installing the MOD. Once you understand the basic tricks to installing the MOD, you will be able to install almost any MOD with very little trouble...
