I fixed the index.php file. I forgot to include the include statement for the functions_suggest.php file. That's a perfect example why it is always better to use EM to install these MODs. Even experienced people can make mistakes when manually adding MOD code to their files. EM doesn't make human mistakes...

| Ohh, Ohk. But the MOD welcome panel was installed through EM only! and when i removed 1 MOD through EM which was installed before Welcome Panel MOD so the welcome panel MOD got corrupted so than i installed it again but than it was still the problem there. Than now you fixed it. So can't we uninstall/restore backups of MODs which are previously installed! ? |

Yes, you can Restore Backups using EM. But the problem was that you overwrote the index.php file with one that didn't include the Welcome Panel code. So even though the code was in all the other files, the panel messages weren't displaying because they weren't being assigned in your index.php file. So I had to go in and manually add the missing code. But the first time, I forgot to include the include code for a functions file, which caused the error that you saw....

oOpS! I don't know when i overwrote it! I just uninstalled through EM and installed it back through EM. Yeah, the welcome panel was not working so surely i have done something wrong but really i don't remember!  |
