Yes, the MOD author made a mistake in using a REPLACE WITH rather than the IN-LINE commands instead. He replaced what he wanted, but he also replaced code that he didn't intend to replace...

I imagine that he didn't have a decent understanding of the modding commands. A lot of MOD authors make the same type of mistake...

OH Ohk. But what if a user who is newbie and installs this MOD and mess up his forum because of some silly mistakes which the MOD author did so he will blame MOD author only Very Happy

It's up to the MOD author to test install his MOD to make sure it works. But if they don't use EM to do it, they are likely to make the same mistake in understanding the meaning of REPLACE WITH as opposed to IN-LINE REPLACE WITH. Those commands work differently. EM knows the difference and doesn't make the mistake. So it would be nice if MOD authors would use EM to install their MODs to catch all modding script problems...

OH yeah right you are. I have talked to 1 MOD author and he was not preferring to install his MOD through EM!! So might be for this MOD also the author didn't prefer through EM and they don't test it and creates problem for users like me who knows nothing about the errors when they occur hysterical2

Right, if they don't understand the commands, then they will make the same mistake when manually installing them and never catch their misake. So everyone else has to pay for the mistake before the MOD author is told to fix their MOD...
