I don't allow automatic updates either. After I have seen System Managers apply M$ patches and updates that crashed the entire corporate networks then lose their jobs, I learned not to take that risk...

| Yea iv had so many probs with updates in the past so i dont allow automatic updates anymore, im very weary in what i update, iv got no updates on here now and iv not had any probs with my pc at all |

| I do not have Aotomatic enabled either. I got a corrupted update through Aoto Update about a year ago and when i finally found the problem I dis-abled Auto Update. Like RB I check manually after reading others' input about new updates. |
