I just tried to install a mod to edit post counts but I got a load of errors and I don't understand what they are telling me or what I need to do.
Template Q more out of interest - I'm looking at maybe a new template for the new BDZ and I installed one but when I do a post, at the bottom where you get all the previous posts in a window..its showing up as subSilver and not the template installed. 
And with the main board when I edit someone's profile it resets their post count to 0 (which is why I'm trying to add the 'edit post count' mod so that if it happens I can add the count back  ) Its no biggy, hopefully the other board will be live soon, but I'm curious

Try this to fix the template problem.
Go into the overall_header file of the new template.

Then open simple_header.tpl and find the same code starting with <!-- and ending with --!> and paste what you copied over what's there.
That should hopefully fix that spot for you. |

Try it again. I didn't see anything wrong in the settings, so I simply reinstalled EM on your Live board and it corrected the problem...

| The only thing not right is on my new forum with the girlTalk2 template - the thing where if you are replying to a post the previous posts window is showing in subSilver and not the template. (Its now working for Diddle) |

Sorry Karen, I just assumed the css code was in your overall_header. You would want to copy the css code in your templates .css file if it's not in your overall_header. |

I looked at this the other day and couldn't figure out where the template was going wrong. Someone else recently ran into a similar problem with a different template and all looked correct in the code too, so they had to go to the template developer to resolve the problem. I think that's the best option. I can't find the problem...

| While were talking templates...I'm trying to unistall a couple using Xtreme Styles but when I click the link to unistall I get an error 404 page. That means its not installed properly doesn't it? |
