Is it just me or is it taking an extra long time for the Spell Checker to launch? Sometimes it takes up to 10 or 12 seconds. This has started just recently.

Matter of fact submitting the post is taking forever also tonight. Every thing else seems to be a quick as ever. Submitting takes anywhere from 20 seconds to a full minute.

I just tested the Spell Checker on a post and it popped right up. It seemed about the same to me...
I updated the board to 2.0.17 yesterday and the only problem I have seen was that Yahoo Newsfeed links were no longer working. I had to restore one of the older lines of code in the bbcode.php file to get it to work correctly again. I haven't noticed any other problems yet...
I also have been helping others with their 2.0.17 updates over at the phpBB community and I haven't seen a complaint about poor performance there yet. Most of the complaints so far have been about BBCodes...
Edit: this was the time it took to submit this post. 5.6 seconds is pretty good...

Since I just updated the board to 2.0.17 yesterday, I thought it would be possible for something else not to be working correctly. So far only one bbcode line screwed things up and I have since corrected it...
