Motherboard Monitor v5.3.7
An overheated computer is an unhappy computer. This handy program reads temperature and fan RPM data collected by your system's BIOS, displays it in the Windows system tray, and alerts you when there's trouble. You can use this application to manage your resources and alarms by doing things like setting an alarm to go off, or having an email sent to another computer, when your motherboard starts to overheat. You could even have programs start and stop
Does anybody have any input about using this freeware program? This was reccomended by PC Magazine. Will this do more than some of the existing free system information programs? |

I haven't used this particular program, but I think it sounds pretty good. A lot of motherboards come with their own software that does exactly what this is supposed to do but I imagine it doesn't get installed on pre-built systems very often. I don't think you can go wrong by installing and using this...
I use a program called AsusProbe which does basically the same thing as the program you listed above. It came with my ASUS mobo and drivers...
