Removing the cookies didn't work. You have to remove the 2 files completely cause the whole file is corrupt.
Once removed Firefox will re-create them. |

Ok, that would make sense. Now the trick is to figure out how the file became corrupt. I hope this is not a recurring problem in Firefox...
