NR can probably explain it a lot better than I can but I can show you where they are in our subSilver template. I think NR uses Ultra Edit 32 for reading the files ... not sure if note pad will display them or not. Right click and choose Edit and see what you get.

The tpl files are simply text files with a tpl extension, referring to template (tpl). You can open them in 1st Page 2000 simply by changing the Files of type setting to All files (*.*)...

I don't know of any books that you can buy or online information sites that can teach you this stuff. Generally you work on what you understand and ask questions about things that you don't. That's what the help communities are for. No matter how good the author is, they could never write a book that covered every situation that comes up, so it would be impossible to write one that would help very many people...

edit: I am editing my post here:
I changed this

to this:
a href="http://www.fisheadtackle.com/"
Now I will see if that works. I open the tpl file in 2000, then just clicked save after making chnages and then uploaded the new version in directory to replace old version. I think I did it right. |
