I added the Topic Description MOD. This mod adds a description to the topics on the forum, like on vBullettin systems and some others. You can add a Description of up to 255 characters to any New Topic, which will display in the View Forum page...

I saw that new space at the top of the message posting window and said to myself: Where the heck did that come from!? Humm, I'll have to look more carefully and see if there are any discriptions. I dont wan't to be the first one. Not that I don't know how, I just don't want to be first.

You don't have to worry about being the first to use the feature since I already used it on this topic...

There is an option next to the Description field that can be checked so that ONLY Admins can see the Description. I don't imagine that it needs to be used that often here, if at all. I may even remove the setting...

The option that only admins see the description might have some benefit.

Especially on a very large and busy board. Could be used to alert the admin of the contents of the post in case they want to read it for approval and give them a chance to delete it before it gets responded to. However, I think in most case someone posting something controversial wouldn't want it deleted are alert the admins to it.

Another possibility could be of not being sure the post is placed in the right forum and might would be better placed elsewhere.

For our small board I don't think we need the options
