As I said before, I bought this new pc because of so much trouble with DVDs and I found if I use two seperate dvds to burn one to the other that it caused problems with my new pc, so that explains why I had so many failed burns, pattly.
Now I found that lightscribe itself causes failed burns. I tried burning onto a verbatin lightscribe DVD and it failed today. Well that has cost me over $50 in failed DVDs at $1.00 each. Buying this new pc sure puts the light on things.
Verbatin discontinued making lightscribe discs, probably because people were taking them back from failed burns. HP does still sell them. I did get a lot of them to work, the brand didn't matter much, but its like a 30% failed burn ratio. |
