Nightrider, I’ve noticed that there’s a problem when updating dj profile on danceairwaves. For some reason you upload the pic and I can see its uploaded ok to the server as it’s in the correct folder but the pic does not show on the residents section http://www.danceairwaves.net/residents I remember this working a while ago. Because that much has been changed on both of the passion and airwaves site though I haven’t a clue where to look to try and fix the problem |

| Oooh it's something to do with because you merged the databases I think... I’ve managed to get the pic to show but I had to do this using the daw database. Though when I update using the site profile section is updating the merged forum database. Think that’s right... |

No, that couldn't be it. I imported the one database tables into the other, but I don't think I ever got around to changing the configuration settings to point to the combined database. Even if I did, it shouldn't be causing the problem that you are describing. The data would still be stored in the same table as before. The location of the tables should have no effect on the functionality of the source code...

I switched the config settings to point back to the original database, but that didn't make any difference. The problem with the residents pics is that they are stored in the residents_pics folder while the pictures uploaded in the Edit Profile page uploads the pics to the member-pics folder. So where do you upload images for your residents? What's the difference between a resident and a member???

Ok.
The difference, member is for anyone registered. Residents are djs that have permission to broadcast and are listed on the resident djs section |

Yes, I know where they are stored, but what utility do your residents use to upload them there???

For some reason, the Residents points to the old database while the rest points to the combined database. When I switched both to point to the old database, the functionality works correctly. It acts like the residents code is using a different config file from the other...
I left it the way it was so that all is working again, but if there have been changes in the database, those would be stored in the other database that's not being used for this right now...
