To get rid of the white borders, just change the cellspacing="1" to cellspacing="0" in the table definitions. You can copy the header I used in the index_bodyt.pl file and paste it at the top of all other headers. Then modify the header assignments to match what you will be removing. Also, you can change the table width="936" to width="600" or whatever you plan to use...
I really need to hit the sack, so if you don't fully understand what I just said, then I can deal with this tomorrow...

I figured you would know how to adjust the widths of the tables on each page. That will be a huge job since you will have to go through a lot of files to get all the pages set to the same size. The problem is, there are some pages that you won't be able to decrease to 750 pixels, such as the memberlist page...
