What I am trying to do is help a owner of a fan site forum remove the pesky spammers that have overwhelmed the actual members listed. Is there a MOD that on one sweep - like the moderator forum where you just check each post you want to remove - to rid the list of the fake users?? Hope you understand what I am asking.

That's a newer version of the Userlist that we have installed here. It sounds like the MOD author added some functionality to make it easier to delete members without going into their Profile like our version requires...

Oooooooooh, ok NightRider. I sent it to someone to add to their forum. Hopefully it works as I would like it to. I want it to work with EM. Does it? I read a post on phBB where some one did install it with EM and said it was working ok. (or close)

Yes, it should install with EM and if there are any conflicts during the MOD install, we can work through them until the MOD is fully installed. I have installed over 800 MODs here in RCF all with EM, so you should be able to do the same in your community...

800?????????????? WOW. It reads that in your EM history?? Were all MODs EM compliant?? Andwhen you upgrade/update, doesn't that erase all your hard work?? I know it did on mine.

And I thought my lil 8 was a lot. 2 are still sitting there to be added. Razz

I chimed in on the request for a multi-quote MOD. It's like vBulletin has. What do you think? (anyone)

No, I doubt that there are 800 MODs in EM History at this time. I cleaned it up and removed a lot of MODs that were no longer installed that I removed back before EM 0.3.0 when there wasn't an included Restore Backups option. There were also a lot of MODs that get installed and run multiple times due to a recurring need, so those didn't need to be included in EM History either. In fact, I probably need to go back and clean it up again...

You can go in and see what we have installed here:

If you overwrite your phpBB files with the current version, you will lose all of your installed MODs. But if you use the phpBB Updates to update your forum files, you don't lose anything. You can find the phpBB Updates in the phpBB MOD Database:

Unfortunately, it looks like they forgot a few when they switched from the old to the new system. It looks like all the updates from 2.0.19 up are missing. I have them and can make them available if necessary...

And on the overwrite vs update... hmmm.... I'll have to remember that next version change. Good info for me to c n p to a desktop memo. Wink
