Ok, I can see that didn't help already. I wasn't comfortable with the syntax here but wasn't sure if this might be something that I hadn't seen before but was valid. Now it looks like it's really not...
So try this:
OPEN
templates/aphrodite_mc/overall_header.tpl
FIND
REPLACE WITH
FIND
REPLACE WITH

Thank you Have fixed it up, a member has complained the code is still there so have asked her to clear out her cache as obviously its not possible for it to appear the same when its been changed :/
I'm thrilled that you have helped fix the problem with the MPS MOD code, thanks so much for that Saved me having to chase it up with the author lol.
Now its just a case of sorting this annoying alignment problem out and I will be a happy camper |

See my previous message. I wasn't comfortable with the IF END syntax that was being used, and since it is still showing in IE, you should try the suggestions I made above to see if the problem will go away...

Here's another mistake from the Simple Subforum MOD. Apparently you manually added the MOD to your forum. We need to get you using Easymod to help avoid problems like this...
OPEN
templates/aphrodite_mc/index_body.tpl
FIND
| Code:
|
<!-- END forumrow -->
<!-- ENDIF -->
|
REPLACE WITH
| Code:
|
<!-- ENDIF -->
<!-- END forumrow -->
|
 |

Wow, you certainly know your stuff Thanks for those fixes!
I have Easymod installed on our other forum (multiple births support) as it was only started in Dec last year and I didnt like the idea of reinstalling everything again LOL! But I think its too late to add it to TPS as it there is about 150 MODs already installed on it beforehand and figured it would have been a bit too late to do so :S
Its a great tool to have if you know how to get around the odd errors it has (ie. going through and doing what it can't handle manually) and want to save time - especially with the bigger mods which can take a while to install.
I apologise for not noticing your 2nd post straight away as well - am running between making dinner and tending to a 2 year old atm so its taking me ages to get posts up Thank God for multi-tasking hey! |

Did you see my suggestion directly above your last message? The offset problem is still there in Firefox, but the crap at the top of the page in Opera and IE are now gone, gone, gone. If you have already followed my previous suggestion, go ahead and delete the tpl_xxx files in the cache folder again...
I've installed over 800 MODs here into RCF using EM. It is never too late to add it. If you encounter conflicts in the MOD scripts, I can teach you how to fix them so that EM can easily install just about any MOD. It is always better to fix the MOD script and install them using EM than to ever manually install any MOD code into your forum. EM never makes mistakes, so the best you can hope to do manually is what EM does all the time. Since we are all human, we all are capable of making mistakes that EM would never make. The problem I mentioned above with the Simple Subforums MOD was caused by incorrectly adding the code to the index_body.tpl file. EM would not have made that mistake...

Ok I had followed through with the Simple Subforums code change, so just emptied the cache again!
Hope that helps
If its possible to add Easymod to a heavily modded forum then yeah I can't see why not, will save me a lot of time and hassle I am sure! I just started studing fulltime so any help in that department will really be beneficial to me lol.
Any support you are ever able to give will be really appreciated |

Ok, here are a bunch of other errors in the index_body.tpl file. I'm only displaying the left part of the code since that is where the errors are. These lines are all much longer and you will leave that part of the code alone...
OPEN
mod.txt
FIND
| Code:
|
<p class="row-header" width="80%" gensmall">
<p class="row1" gensmall">{OVERALL_POS
<p class="row1" gensmall">{TOPM_UN}{L_
<p class="row1" gensmall">{TOTAL_USERS
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
<p class="row1" gensmall"><img src="temp
{CHAT_USERNAMES}</p>
<p class="row1" gensmall">{MOST_RECENT
<p class="row1" gensmall"><b>{UOT_COUN
|
REPLACE WITH - removing only the gensmall" from each line
| Code:
|
<p class="row-header" width="80%">
<p class="row1">{OVERALL_POS
<p class="row1">{TOPM_UN}{L_
<p class="row1">{TOTAL_USERS
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
<p class="row1"><img src="temp
{CHAT_USERNAMES}</p>
<p class="row1">{MOST_RECENT
<p class="row1"><b>{UOT_COUN
|
And the following is probably what is causing the display problem in Firefox...
FIND
| Code:
|
</div>
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
|
REPLACE WITH
| Code:
|
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
</div>

That didn't fix it either. The problem seems to start around the Logout option, so let's try this and see what happens...
OPEN
templates/aphrodite_mc/index_body.tpl
FIND & REMOVE
| Code:
|
<div class="nav-links-left">
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
<a href="#" onclick="this.style.behavior='url(#default#homepage)'; this.setHomePage('....');">Make TPS Your Homepage</a><br />
{CURRENT_TIME} | {S_TIMEZONE}<br />
<a href="{U_LOGIN_LOGOUT}">Logout</a>
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
</div>
