Hi Nightrider,
The reason i asked the other question was because we have been experiancing lots of errors on DM lately. Many of my members are complaining about it. I have asked the server and they have checked a few times but never "see" anything wrong on their end. Is there soemthing you can maybe look at for me? Or do you think this is a server issue and I should be pressing them to help? Here is the info.
I personally have been getting a few of them. I have had the blank white page. I have had the Unable to connect browser error many many times, and I am also getting the internal error 500 in there.
Most others are complaining about the "this page cannot be displayed" browser error, and a few have had some I have not heard of.
"I just now got a white page 501 error"
"the page cannot be displayed then a blue background with the "500 Error" message"
"I get 2 different ones, the 500 error and the 504 error."
"Error 504 'divinemommies...' Gateway Timeout.
Try reloading the Web page.
Retype the address in your browser.
Check your computer's Internet connection.
search Try searching:
This is the one I just got..the 504" |

This is definitely a problem that your host will have to fix. The Gateway error is an indicator that your domain isn't being accurately published around the Net. This might be a problem that has to be corrected by your domain provider. Your host should be able to look at the error messages that you posted above and get a pretty good idea of what is going wrong...

Exact URL? They are everywhere, and not all the time.
I am going to have to chew them out in the morning.
We have been having the same problems on FT as well for a week or two. FT is with the same server co, but not on the same server. So something has got to be up. |

It's probably not a server problem. It's a problem with the domain itself. The domain is going in and out of being "alive". There is no link to offer since this would affect EVERY link on the domain since the pages aren't the problem but the domain being "alive" is. That's why this would happen on two different sites even though they are on different servers...
The error message about the Gateway should tell them exactly what to look for...
