If you want the forum to come up when entering the domain name without the forum, why not just move all the code up one level so there is no forums folder? That way you won't have to jump through all these hoops trying to redirect to the forums folders...

You would move all the files and folders from the forums folder up one level to the topparentingsites.com folder. Then the path to the board would need to be adjusted in the phpbb_config table in several places. Then you could access the forum directly from the following link:
http://www.topparentingsites.com/

How do I actually do that though? I have a 'change folder' option in my FTP
OK this is really weird! I lust looked in my topparentingsites.com folder and there aren't any forums in there  But my site is running I haven't deleted any...all I got in there is a Webalizer folder How is that possible? |

The forums folder is there:
Do you want me to move all of the files and folders from your forums folder to the root and change the phpbb_config settings for you? It should only take a few minutes to get everything back up and running again...
