Hey, is there a MOD or a way to make a certain person only able to access certain bits of the ACP? like when they open the ACP all the comes up is say user admin and group admin?

I think you can install Moderators CP and than in modcp folder you may move some admin folder files so your moderator can access it how much you will give them permission. It is also possible that you can only allow your Main Moderator to access MCP by changing some codes. If you want this MOD, let me know, I will provide you with the download link Smile

Not really what im looking for sorry, more of a Junior Admin, i have seen this mod somewhere but cant find it again

Nightrider has the junior admin mod in his downloads area here. But I personally wouldn't recommend using it unless he fixes it up first. It's a really really old mod that has known issue's that need to be fixed in order for it to work with the newer phpbb versions. I think in the long run it may cause more problems than it's worth using. It needs to be re-written in my opinion.

As far as I know there really is no way to allow someone to do only certain admin duties, without actually making them an admin.

Right you are FTM. The Junior Admin MOD have several bugs in it. I have read about the problems over phpbb community.

And you are right that it's not possible that a user will be able to do certain admin duties without making some one as Admin Applause

I don't really remember anything about the Jr Admin MOD. I may have tried to help someone install it somewhere along the line. If the problem is with the MOD script, that is easy enough to fix. But if there are serious flaws in the logic, I don't typically like to make any major modifications to the MOD since that should be the job of the MOD author. I have made a few exceptions though, so if you think there is any hope for the Jr Admin MOD, I would be happy to take a look at it to see if it is worth salvaging...

Junior Admin have same functions Nightrider which my Main MOD currently have it. I mean my main mod got MOD CP so are there any more features available in that dontknow
