Hi there,

ok how to start ...

I explain the Problem and Upload some files that are involved in the conflict.

as you can see on:

http://62.75.186.44/test_phpBB2/index.php.txt (pls remove txt while copy)

The folder img within the Recent Topic don't show the way they should.

ok now what's installed and works:

Mods installed probably:
Simple Admin Userlist

Xtreme Styles mod v 2.40

cdxroster

Templates installed:
subSilver

Eos

So far everything is fine.

Now i can install simple subforums mod or recent topics mod

If i install them both the folder img thing happens (link above).

Simple Subforums mod:
http://62.75.186.44/solving/simple_subforums_1.0.2.txt <- Install File

Recent Topic mod:
http://62.75.186.44/solving/recent_german.txt <- Install File
http://62.75.186.44/solving/recent.php.txt <-Attached File

I think that's it for now, plz tell me if you need any other data.

Thanks for you time /big hug

Welcome to RCF Modeus!!!   Applause

Your link to the index.php.txt file doesn't work.  If you remove the .txt extension, the page displays.  So could you provide a true text link to the index.php file?  I don't see anything in the Recent Topics MOD that could be affecting this.  I suspect the problem is all in the Simple Subforums MOD.  I probably will need to see a text link to your template's cfg file too...

Hi and thx Smile

yes sry i noticed that the index wasn't accessable - cause of ch ...

now i changed ch and you can have a look what happens.

My thinking (i´m a noob with php withstupid ) That it is the array(); change the Subforum mod does - so the recent./row thing's doesn't work probably ?

Here the links to my Template cfg

http://62.75.186.44/solving/Eos.cfg.txt

tell me if you need anything else, then i'll  puke  *joke*

Thx a lot

Cheers

Ok, the images are displaying properly at the bottom of the page, but not next to each forum.  The paths to the images are different in both places too.  So I really need to be able to see a txt link to your index.php file...

Woops, that's the index.php file from your admin folder.  I need the index.php file from your test_phpBB2 forum folder...

Ok, I don't see anything wrong with the index.php file.  Could you provide a text link for your Eos/index_body.tpl file???

I really have to leave for the evening, so we're going to have to pick this up later in the early morning when I get home or tomorrow.  If you leave a text link to your index_body.tpl file, hopefully I will see the problem and provide an answer later in the morning when I get back...

Now that I have gotten a break, I see something that I didn't see before.  It looks like the problem is with the Recent Topics MOD, not the Simple Subforums MOD.  I downloaded a clean copy of the MOD from phpBBHacks.com...

The first obvious problem is that you have an extra <td> tag and a missing <tr> tag in your Eos/index_body.tpl table code for the Recent Topics MOD.  So do this to fix it:

OPEN
Eos/index_body.tpl

FIND
Code:
<!-- BEGIN recent -->
  <td>

REPLACE WITH
Code:
<!-- BEGIN recent -->
<tr>

Save and upload back to your Eos template folder.  Be sure to create a good backup of the file before you overwrite it just in case something goes wrong...
