Well you have that older version that you can use as a guide that is supposed to be pulling the data from the database. You may not have to start completely from scratch...

True but it would take me weeks/months to figure out how get the links.php back up though, so I guess I'd proberly be just better of waiting to see if I can get a backup of the file back  |

Yeah, it would be a whole lot easier if you can get a file from the backup. So how do you plan to contact the guy if he isn't logging in any longer???

I have is home phone number and mobile number, I'm going to ring him later in the week. I'm not sure why he hasn't been online for over a month hope he's ok.
I really need him to sort some stuff out for djpassion.co.uk though and can't leave it much longer.
I'm going to look into a php link manager for now anyway. Just for the experience more than anything  |

Well he logged onto the forums for a while last Sunday but hasn’t done anything, neither has he been on since.
I couldn't wait no longer so I've just took the whole website down for now but just left the forums up and running only.
It will have to stay like that until he sorts it. I'll give him a few months but if there still isn't any sign of him I'll ask someone else to help me sort the website out. Hopefully this won't be needed but you never know
I've got his number but why should I phone him, he knows the situation with the site, he disappears for just over a month then logs on the forums for a short while then disappears again lol. Madness
I think his been abducted by aliens lol |
