Btw I'm using SmartFTP it's much better than CuteFTP Smart FTP doesn't keep dropping out all the time like Cute FTP did. I'm not using any queue global mode though. Just using direct... |

For small uploads or downloads, I use SmartFtp's direct option too. But when I have a lot of files to upload or download, the Global Queue option is the best and safest way to do it. So what I use depends on how much I need to do...

These are the options you would see if you right-click on a destination/source folder on your FTP Server...

It might actually be faster than the standard way. And when the Global Queue is running, you still have access to do other things in SmartFtp. You don't have to wait for the download/upload to finish or open another window. The processes run independently from each other...
