I'm not sure what it is but i even CHMOD the folder to 7777 but still no good
I try to delete it but somethings stopping me

If the folder permissions are set to 755 and you still can't delete it, then only your host can do it. You might try creating a tmp folder and see if it will allow you to move the problematic folder to it just to get it out of the way if need be. If that doesn't work, then it would be up to your host to fix the problem on their end...

| Yeah I had to get my host to delete it. I've never had this happen before. I asked why I couldn't delete it but they closed the ticket as it was solved lol grrr |

It was probably a glitch on their server or one of their technicians accidentally changed one of the permissions on your end so that it didn't matter what permissions you used, their's overrode your's. When it is a host problem, there really isn't anything you can do until they fix it...
I've seen this a few times, not many though...

I see that's what it must have been then. Cheers. If it happens again I’ll just ask them to correct rather than me spend hour after hour trying to correct something that's impossible to do hehe.  |
