Ok, go into your ACP and click on Update in the arcade. If that doesn't work, you can run it directly by entering the path in your browser and adding the admin login sid number to the end. So the path could look something like this:
| Code:
|
|
http://www.karens-teddies.com/phpBB2/admin/admin_arcade_update.ph p?sid=bc52329e0893ff9f65c79a0260e7118f
|
If you don't add the sid that you see when you log into the ACP, then it won't work. Also, did you upload Arcade_MOD_v2.1.8a too? There are two parts to 2.1.8...
Also, they include these two topics that cover a lot of the errors that you might encounter:
I had to use these two links to correct several install errors the last time I installed it...
If you can't even see the navigation panel in your ACP, move the admin_arcade.php file to a temporary folder, then refresh the page. That should allow the navigation panel to work again. Then once you successfully update the database, you can move the admin_arcade.php back to the admin folder...

You need to use a Code bbcode tag instead of quote or the code inside gets parsed, as you noticed...
Ok, try this:
OPEN
arcade_mod_2.1.8.mod
FIND
| Code:
|
#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
<tr>
<td height="25" align="center" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap"><span class="mainmenu"> <a href="{U_PROFILE}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_profile.gif" width="12" height="13" border="0" alt="{L_PROFILE}" hspace="3" />{L_PROFILE}</a> <a href="{U_PRIVATEMSGS}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_message.gif" width="12" height="13" border="0" alt="{PRIVATE_MESSAGE_INFO}" hspace="3" />{PRIVATE_MESSAGE_INFO}</a> <a href="{U_LOGIN_LOGOUT}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_login.gif" width="12" height="13" border="0" alt="{L_LOGIN_LOGOUT}" hspace="3" />{L_LOGIN_LOGOUT}</a> </span></td>
</tr>
#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
<tr>
<td align="center" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap"><span class="mainmenu">
<a href="{U_ACTIVITY}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_activity.gif" width="12" height="13" border="0" alt="{L_ACTIVITY}" hspace="3" />{L_ACTIVITY}</a> </span>
</td>
</tr>
|
REPLACE WITH
| Code:
|
#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
{U_QUIZ}
#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
<a href="{U_ACTIVITY}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_activity.gif" width="12" height="13" border="0" alt="{L_ACTIVITY}" hspace="3" />{L_ACTIVITY}</a>
|
Save, upload, and try again using EM...
