I don't have another server to back things up to so I have to do it here at home.
I wondered if maybe they tried to move the database into a newer one converting over to Olympus and that helped mess things up.
All I know is it is now very hard to find things in catagories. |

You should keep backups of your server files on your PC, just in case. If the server crashes and if your host doesn't maintain good backups, you would be screwed without your own backups...
They blamed double-disk failure for the loss of the community at phpBB.com. But if that was true and if they had good backups, they should have been able to recreate everything in a short amount of time. I really think that their excuse for the outage was a lie in order to save face...
