To my dearest lost friend
Who doesn't know me at all
But I miss you so much
It makes my tears fall.
Thought I'd have you forever
Your great laugh and smile
Now all gone,Wish I could
Have you back for just a while.
Life can be a heartache
Or it can be real ectasy
So record the whole story
into your own family tree.
To relive all the memories
The good and the bad
Is something I cherish
To lose them would be sad.
I'm not what I once was
I'm getting older you see
So my bodies not as good
As it once used to be.
But I'm thankful indeed
That my memory survived
And most of my lifetime
in my mind can be revived.
The saddest thing I know of
Is not remembering your own
Like pages erased from a book
And your dear ones unknown.
So no matter what aches
Or makes me sad or mad
I'll have all my memories
And that's not all that bad. |
