Nightrider, when we were having so many issue's my test board got left in the cold (just too slow and I got impatient)
So I was wondering if there is a good way to mirror my test board with my live board in order to get back on track with keeping them the same. Are there certain files I can just FTP and override to mirror them. Or is there a better or safer way to do this?
My live board has a few mods that my test board does not have (only files changed, no SQL) and also my live board template .tpl files have been altered and they weren't done on the test board. |

You can simply delete all the Test board files, except for the config.php file, then upload your Live board files to the Test board folder. There is a chance that your Live database structure may be different from your Test board database, so you may want to delete the Test database and copy the Live database to the Test database again...
It sounds harder than it is. It just takes time...

You can easily recreate many forums using the same code from your Live board. None of it is difficult but it can be time-consuming, especially if you are like me on dial-up...
