I don't have the website at hand now, but there is a good software called SpeedFan that I use and it is very good. It monitors your CPU temp, system temp and HDD temp! Highly recommended and the settings that you have to do manually can be found here.
I actually saw that that link provides you with the link to the download site for the software too.

I'm happy to hear that you don't have a heating problem Katy. I think rb is fighting that problem on her new PC still. I really think all she needs are more exhaust fans but her case may be too small to add anything else...
