The Ref BBCode allows us to access a dictionary, thesaurus, and translater...

Examples on how to use the Ref BBCode in the Compose window are as follows:

For Dictionary:

[ref=dictionary]community[/ref]

For Thesaurus:

[ref=thesaurus]community[/ref]

For Translator:

[ref=translator]community[/ref]

They would look like this in the display:

For Dictionary:

community

For Thesaurus:

community

For Translator:

community

I also added some BBCode Buttons to represent each option:

RefD: Dictionary
RefT: Thesaurus
RefR: Translator

Guest, thanks for the nice compliment. I really appreciate it...

This [ref] tag might be a bit harder for people to remember. I wish the developer would have chosen d for dictionary, t for thesaurus, and r for translater instead of forcing us to spell out the entire words. I may look into the code and see if I can simplify it to work just that way...

Ummm... Nightrider, it was the others who complimented you. <G> But I'll give my thanks too, that's a good addition to the tools here. It'd be shorter to use a single letter code, but might also be easier to remember the whole word.

LOL BigR, I included the new [you] BBCode in my thankyou reply so that anyone who reads the post will think I'm talking to them. The name changes to match the member's alias. So even those who didn't offer any assistance gets to be a part of the congratulations...

I added 3 BBCode Ref buttons, one for each option, so that it would be a lot easier than typing in the correct option, spelling, and syntax. You probably could shorten the options to the following as well and they might still work. I wouldn't swear to it though:

[ref=dict]community[/ref] displays as community
[ref=thes]community[/ref] displays as community
[ref=trans]community[/ref] displays as community

I just modified the code hoping that we can now use just a single character to specify the option. This is what I hope will work now:

[ref=d]community[/ref] displays as community
[ref=t]community[/ref] displays as community
[ref=r]community[/ref] displays as community

Hopefully these will work the same as if you spelled out the words completely. It appears that they all work perfectly...
