 One nite as I walked to my trusty car,
I looked down upon the pavement..
And there before my wide eyes
What was it that I saw ????????????????????
Two potatochip wings and a yellow last finger sized body
Short wiggly antennaes and cocoa tan designs
Sitting at my feet...waiting...but for what?
To be flattened by a car..mine perhaps? NOT !
I coaxed this strange beasty onto a large green leaf
After a few nudges & sighs. We headed for the bushes nearby.
This 4" wingspanned beauty had a mind all of his own.
Took flight briefly then under my right front tire it did go...

One nite as I walked to my trusty car,

Fluttery flight leaf to leaf this yellow tan mystery so free!
So now you're all wondering how this tale should just end ...
He could not wait for the water I brought & POOF ! Vanished as
Mysteriously as he arrived ... He sat upon my hand
For just a few fleeting moments of time, ~ a forever memory~
Such lively suspense, now for you & for me!
